Annual AIA Christmas Party 2006 Pics!!

  • Where: Judson House (168 Lloyd Avenue)
  • What: gingerbread house-making competition, free food/drinks, fun people, White-Elephant gift-exchange, music, memories...great moments
  • Who: YOU and everyone else are invited
  • Why: it's only once a year! It's only a little time, but lots of fun. Just do it.

Topic: Victory Beyond Competition

Topic: What I wish I would've known... 

  • Guest speaker Ryan McReynolds will talk about his NCAA D1 football experiences and his trip to the Rose Bowl, as well as offer some encouraging words of wisdom.
  • Started 31 consecutive games playing Tight End for the Arizona State Sun Devils.
  • Coaches included Mike Martz, Lovie Smith, Jim Colletto, John Cooper and Larry Marmie.
  • Played with perennial All-Pro’s Eric Allen, Randall McDaniel, Dan Saleamua on the 1987 Rose Bowl Championship team
  • Later, played with Darren Woodson and Philippi Sparks against players like Junior Seau, Troy Aikman and Willie McGinest
  • Ryan has spent much of the last 13 years mentoring college athletes with Athletes in Action at ASU, New Mexico State and the University of Colorado at Boulder. 
  • Ryan is passionate about helping athletes achieve their full mental, physical and spiritual potential. 
  • He has been married for 15 years and has three children.

  • Graduated from Oklahoma State Univ in 1993 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Worked with college students at U. of Arkansas, Estonia and Boston. 
  • Currently direct ministries at MIT and NU. 
  • Currently in final year of MDiv at Gordon-Conwell Theol Seminary. 
  • Wife's name = Michelle; four kids (8,7, 3, 1). 
  • "I love sports and recreation--dabbling in all, master at none!"

  • Harvard Varsity Swim Team four years
  • Team finished top 22nd and 20th in the nation last two years
  • Won Ivy League title 2 out of 4 years (taking 2nd the other two years). 
  • 11th fastest in 100 fly in the Ivy League during Junior Year.
