Who organized the summer project? (In other words, what program did you go
with?) I went with AIA.
What was one or two of the biggest takeaways from your experience?
I have grown so much because of my experience. After finishing the SPECIAL, I realized that God's strength kept me going. I realized that He is with me every step of the way, guiding me through life. I also broke down after I finished, concluding I need to let God take control of my life (a strong issue in my life).
For so long I thought I had control, but I realized that He does. I have entrusted my life in to His hands. I have become more relaxed in my every-day encounters and do not worry as much as I once did. I am a stronger, more confident person now. And I am better equipped to be a better athlete and person.
Who would you recommend this project to?
I would recommend this project to anyone in AIA. It has forever changed my life, so I'm sure that it will change the lives of others. I hope my testimony from UTC, will impact others' lives like mine.
